· Visions of Our 44th President exhibition at the Charles H. Wright Museum, Detroit; Opening, Sept 20, reception, Oct 12.
· Stillman College, one man exhibition, Oct 1-Oct 30, 2012; lecture and demonstration, Oct 5, 2012
· The Anniston Museum of Natural History’s premier showing of Mine Eyes Have Seen… Anniston’s Place in Civil Rights History, a 60 minute documentary video produced by the Museum. Bacon will be one of several people featured. Oct 25, 2012. 5:30 to 7:30
· Birmingham Public Library Exhibition of the recent work of Art Bacon; May 21- June 28; Reception, May 27, 3-5 pm
· Recently appointed Chief Ambassador and Member of the Board of the Southern Cultural Arts Foundation.
